Terms and conditions

Purpose

These general terms and conditions govern the contracting of the wedding website design and development services offered by NUO through the website nuoboda.es.

Description of the service

NUO offers a service for creating personalised wedding websites, which includes:

a) Design and layout of the website according to the template chosen by the customer.
b) Customisation of colours and typefaces according to the options available.
c) Inclusion of the content provided by the customer (texts, images, event information).
d) An RSVP (attendance confirmation) system for guests.
e) Hosting of the website for the contracted period.
f) Technical support by email.

Ordering process

Step 1: The customer selects the desired template, colour palette and typeface on our ordering page.
Step 2: The customer makes the payment through the secure Stripe payment gateway.
Step 3: The customer receives an access code to complete the form with the details of their wedding.
Step 4: Once all the information has been received, NUO proceeds to create the website.
Step 5: The website is delivered within 24-48 working hours.

Price and method of payment

The price of the service is the one shown on the website at the time of contracting. All prices include the applicable VAT.

Payment is made in full at the time of contracting through the secure Stripe payment gateway, which accepts credit and debit cards.

Delivery time

The delivery time for the website is 24 to 48 working hours from the complete receipt of all the necessary information from the customer.

This period may be extended if the customer does not provide the required information in full or if additional changes are requested.

Duration of the service

The website hosting service lasts for 1 year from the wedding date indicated by the customer.

Once this period has ended, the customer may request the renewal of the service by paying the corresponding fee.

Customer obligations

The customer undertakes to:

a) Provide truthful and complete information for the preparation of the website.
b) Hold the necessary rights to the images and content they provide.
c) Not include content that is unlawful, offensive, defamatory or that infringes the rights of third parties.
d) Not use the website for purposes other than those contracted.

Intellectual property

The design, source code and the graphic elements specific to the templates are the property of NUO.

The content provided by the customer (texts, photographs, etc.) remains their property.

The customer authorises NUO to use screenshots of the website created for promotional purposes in its portfolio, unless the customer expressly indicates otherwise.

Changes

The service includes up to 2 rounds of minor changes to the delivered website. Minor changes include: correction of typos, changes to short texts, and adjustments to dates or times.

Substantial changes (change of template, complete restructuring, addition of sections) may be subject to an additional cost, which will be communicated to the customer in advance.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the regulations in force, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from the date of contracting to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to give any reason.

However, if the customer has expressly requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period and the service has been fully performed, the customer will lose their right of withdrawal.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must notify info@nuoboda.es, stating their decision to withdraw from the contract.

Warranties and liability

NUO guarantees the correct operation of the website during the contracted period and undertakes to resolve any technical incident as quickly as possible.

NUO shall not be liable for:

a) Interruptions of the service due to causes beyond its control (failures of the hosting provider, cyberattacks, etc.).
b) Damage resulting from improper use of the website by the customer or third parties.
c) The truthfulness or accuracy of the content provided by the customer.

Data protection

The personal data provided by the customer will be processed in accordance with the provisions of our Privacy Policy.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, the parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona, without prejudice to the jurisdiction that may correspond to the consumer under the applicable regulations.
